The Biggest Sneaker Deal I Ever Made (And Why It Changed Everything)

Every sneaker reseller has that one deal the kind you never forget. Not because of the profit margin or the shoes themselves (although these were 🔥), but because of how it changed everything after.

For me, it was a single deal in Rexdale, deep in the GTA.

The Lineup

The client? A serious collector. Someone who knew the game, the heat, the market. And he wasn’t playing around. Here’s what I sold in one sitting:

  • Adidas Pharrell BBC NMD R1$3,211
  • Off-White Chicago Jordan 1s$3,780
  • Yeezy 350 V1 Oxford Tan$2,270
  • Off-White Nike VaporMax$1,980
  • Adidas Ultra Boost 1.0 ASU$726
  • Jordan 3 Raging Bulls$580

Total sale? Over $12,500.
Profit? Around 10% which isn’t much when you factor in sourcing, time, and travel.

But that wasn’t the real win.

The Journey to Rexdale

I still remember loading the trunk and driving out to Rexdale. No meetups in public malls this time it was a serious buyer, and I made the trip to deliver them all in person. When I showed up, the reaction was worth it. The respect, the energy, the trust all locked in from that moment.

What Happened Next

What came after is what really made this deal my biggest.

That single client introduced me to friends. And they told their friends. Within a month, I’d gained 50+ new clients, many of them serious buyers. Word spread. My Instagram DMs blew up. I was getting inquiries from people across the GTA who’d heard about the Rexdale drop. People wanted that kind of service, that kind of access, and they wanted to work with someone they could trust.

It felt like overnight, SneakersCanada went from a small resell page to a recognized brand.

Lessons From the Biggest Sale

  • Sometimes the profit isn’t in the product, it’s in the people.
  • Customer experience is everything. Pulling up with heat in-hand builds more trust than any ad ever could.
  • Big moments require big effort. That Rexdale run took planning, coordination, and risk but it paid off way beyond the sale.

That deal taught me that sometimes, the biggest wins come disguised as “just another transaction.” And when you treat every sale like it could be the one that takes you to the next level eventually, one of them will.

And for me, that one was in Rexdale.
